This website is organised to make it easy to find information about the BPF, what we do and our areas of interest.

Who we are

Contains information on our objectives and strategies, our executives and officers, our members, annual reports and other publications and policy positions we have published.

What we do

Contains information on our areas of interest, the line that we take on the issues and the publications, policy positions, research and news releases we have produced that relate to them; there are also links to appropriate BPF committees.

Members

Contains information on becoming a member of the BPF and also details of our committees and sub-committees; committee agendas, minutes and papers are available to BPF members only. BPF members can gain access to these documents by typing their username and password into the box on the left side of the page and clicking ‘Go’. If you are a BPF member but don’t have a password, please email info@bpf.org.uk [insert link] to request one.

News room

Contains our latest news, the news releases we have issued, high resolution downloadable photographs of our executives and a low resolution copy of our logo; for a high resolution version, please email info@bpf.org.uk [insert link] to request one.

Events

Contains details of up and coming BPF events and others that may be of interest to BPF members; it also contains conference papers, speeches and photo galleries from some past BPF events.

Useful links

Contains links to the websites of other organisations within, or associated with, the property industry.

Finding committee papers

If you are a BPF member and would like to view the papers associated with a particular committee, you will first need to type your username and password into the spaces under ‘Member’s login’ on the left side of the screen. You then need to click on ‘Members’ in the left hand navigation bar and then select ‘Committees’ from the list that appears. This will produce a list of all our committees with descriptions of what they do.

Once you have chosen a committee, you will be presented with a list of the agendas, minutes and papers that relate to that committee, in date order with the most recent first. Simply scroll down the list to find the documents you need.

Receiving alerts

BPF members can choose to receive alerts telling them about new documents that have been loaded on to the website. Once you have logged in as a member, the words ‘My account’ will appear under the ‘Log out’ box. If you click on ‘My account’, you will be taken to a screen that allows you to change your username and password, and to subscribe to alerts.

The alerts relate to the issues shown in the box (which mirror the issues in the What we do section of the site). Simply click on the small box beside the issues that interest you and you will be alerted every time something is added to the web pages you have identified, or to a committee associated with the issues.
