What we do
Community infrastructure levy
Working with other like-minded organisations, we put a case to the government that convinced it to scrap its proposed planning-gain supplement (PGS) and, instead, to raise funding for infrastructure through a tariff-based system.
Community infrastructure levy will allow local authorities to raise money to fund infrastructure within their areas. We are currently helping the government to frame the legislation and regulations so that the new levy delivers the infrastructure needed without hindering development.
