What we do
Affordability
Research commissioned as part of the Barker Review of housing supply, highlighted that the nation will need the provision of an additional 100,000 affordable homes per year over the next decade, assuming past house price inflation and demographic trends.
Current government programmes will meet part of this shortfall - anything between and half and two-thirds - but there will still be several thousand households a year seeking accommodation.
We believe the private sector could play an important role in meeting the shortfall, both through investing in shared equity and rented accommodation and, with supportive government policies, through a professionally managed, privately financed build-to-let sector.
