Ever since Sir Michael Latham's seminal paper, Constructing the Team, property companies (clients) have rightly been seen as leaders and are expected to drive up improvements in standards.

We strive to ensure that our client members live up to this requirement and look for ways that they can drive change within the industry.

Building regulations

We review the standards contained in building regulations to ensure that they are capable of implementation

Construction contracts

We work with other bodies to create model agreements and contracts between clients and consultants/contractors

Health and safety

We work with other bodies to improve health and safety conditions on construction sites

Skills and capacity

We monitor the labour market's ability to meet the construction industry's increasing demands for skilled labour
